The Lost-and-Found Memory Office

At the lost-and-found office, some visitors claim things they never lost here. In Kyoto, Mizuki Senda knows how to log an umbrella, describe a watch, and return an object to its owner. The new requests follow a different logic. Visitors recognize belongings from another life—sometimes with unsettling details, sometimes with a grief almost convincing enough on its own.

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR JOURNEY

Something
remained.

You followed a presence, crossed a place, looked at an object. The stories kept their place. Your visit left another trace.

A present we choose.”
