Nora Vasseur

The Last Person Who Remembers

Madeleine remembers a murder. The victim appears in no file. When Madeleine Vasseur arrives at the police station with a notebook and a photograph, she asks them to look for a man. For Captain Inès Delcourt, the case could end there: no missing-person report, no identifiable victim, and a memory weakened by illness.
